Going to my local hobby store on last Sunday with my friend. the hobby store having a clearance stock sale, with the discount of RM10 for all MG,PG kits. During touring at the store, I was having dilemma on which MG kit too choose MG Age-1 normal or MG Char Zaku II Custom Ver. 2.0. but i end up chooses the MG Char Zaku II Custom Ver.2.0 instead because i want to pair it with my MG RX78-2 Ver. OYW.
My friend get this MG Blitz and is looking awesome from his unboxing. I also end up getting the Tamiya Enamel Flat brown just to have more variety of enamel paint for the panel lining. Very happy with the purchase although only discount RM10 for the MG kit but it is a small save. I guess it was around 3~4 months since my last purchase of gunpla kit and with this time purchase i goes back with an empty wallet again, the worse is that this month is my birthday month haha XD. Hell ya....
I had finally complete my first diorama for the Mecha contest 2012. it's been a long journey to complete this kit because i had to on hold all my gunpla project due to the busy activities in my education. the SD Zaku was started on the 1st January 2012 and finish customize it to suit the diorama after few weeks and this is when my studies activities kick in causing me to stop gunpla.
At first, the contest would end on Jun 2012 and i would not be able to take part on the contest but soon after they move the contest to mech lounge forum. Kamm announce the postpone of the deadline of the contest to end of July 2012. This give me a joy that i might able to make it on time to take part in the contest soon after my final exam.
Soon after my final exam, with haste I start my SD Zaku project because this kit is near complete just left the diorama and others would take more time to be complete. I did not know how i am gonna do the diorama but i know that i got 3 days left to finish this up. so i planned 2 days of diorama build with the LED feature and 1 days of painting.
Everything works well and i manage to pull this over and reach the goal of mine. it's been a rush journey but i am very enjoy the build which is the most important things i want in gunpla. Learn a new lesson on this kit and a very good experience with this project as well. Overall i am very happy with the result and did not expected to go well during the rush hour moment.
I would like to say thanks to everyone that had been supported me throughout all my progress. it's quite a challenging task but not impossible i guess, cause i know there is a lot more people would done better job then mine.
last but not least thanks for the support and this is my final and my only entry for the Mecha contest 2012. looking forward for the next contest held by the mecha forum and mecha lounge.
Been a long day since i update my blog and youtube. As the rewards XD i bought my self something. Yup i am broke right away after purchase this stuff haha.
This is the stuff that i bought :-
MG RX0 Unicorn Gundam Banshee
Gundam Plastic Model Databook - dengeki hobby
Tamiya Basic Putty
Mr paint - paint tray
Yesterday when to my local store for one purpose, that is getting one MG kit back home.
The item that bought for this haul:-
MG Delta Plus
Tamiya Craft Tools - Hobby Craft Saw
Before I pick Delta Plus, I did cancel my pre-order for MG Duel Assault Gundam and MG Age-1 Normal Gundam. Picking up the MG Delta Plus is not a regret decision for me cause I love the design of the Delta Plus and also adding MG Delta Plus to my collection is a bonus with my MG Full Armor Unicorn.
Beside taking back MG Kit, I also pick up a Hobby Craft Saw from Tamiya. This saw is not cheap but I had search my whole area for cheaper hobby craft saw for nearly half a year and I could not find any of hobby craft saw sold in my area. So I finally make my decision on purchasing this hobby craft saw and it is a very useful tools in gunpla. love the saw very much.
Overall I am very happy with the MG Delta Plus and the Tamiya hobby craft saw as well.
